Welcome to MumbaiLocal.org, an initiative by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM).

Our platform is dedicated to empowering Self-Help Groups (SHGs), supporting the transgender community, and promoting artisanal products across Mumbai.

We believe in creating sustainable livelihoods, fostering inclusivity, and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of our local artisans. At the heart of Mumbai Local is the commitment to uplift local communities. By facilitating sales and creating opportunities for SHGs, we enable them to reach wider audiences and achieve financial independence.

Our Mission

Our mission at MumbaiLocal.org is to empower marginalized communities, especially SHGs and the transgender population, by providing them with opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.

We aim to Support SHGs with financial resources, training, and market access. Promote the social and economic inclusion of the transgender community. Celebrate and preserve traditional artisanal craftsmanship by providing a platform for local artisans to showcase and sell their products.

Foster community engagement and build strong networks that support collective growth and development.
